Includes: Seagate Exos 7E8 hard drives for data centre infrastructures requiring a highly reliable enterprise hard drive. Exos 7E8 provides cost-effective, reliable access to unstructured data. Built on field-proven 9th generation conventional magnetic recording (CMR) technology, the Exos 7E8 drive helps to catalyse the datasphere, enabling data centre architects and IT professionals to deliver trusted performance, rock-solid reliability, ironclad security and low TCO for demanding 24×7 operations.

The Synology RS3618xs is a 2U 12-bay rackmount network-attached storage solution equipped with a quad-core processor and 8GB DDR4 memory (expandable up to 64GB), meeting the needs for large-scale businesses. With 10GbE Link Aggregation enabled, RS3618xs delivers great performance at over 3,900 MB/s sequential reading throughput and 143,500 iSCSI random IOPS under a RAID 5 configuration. Encrypted data throughput can reach over 2,300 MB/s in reading and 1,177 MB/s in writing. RS3618xs provides great flexibility to easily scale up to thirty-six (36) drives when connected to two (2) Synology RX1217 or RX1217RP expansion units (sold separately). Storage capacity can be expanded according to your business needs with minimal effort
